The main purpose of this course is to provide a foundation to
mathematical and employ these techniques in solving science and engineering
problems. It will enable the students to reason mathematically about basic data
types and structures, such as numbers, sets, functions, graphs used in
mathematics. Also this course provides the fundamental concepts from algebra
and analytic geometry that a student needs in order to begin a calculus course.
