Course Description: The course discusses 3 distinct aspects of arbitration and their procedures. It examines the roles of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and other arbitrative panels, in the administration of arbitral awards. The importance of arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution is highlighted in light of its comparative advantage over the traditional court system.
